Policy
How this personal AI engineering publication and its connected workspace features handle personal information and Google user data.
1. Scope
This policy applies to Khang Publication, the personal AI engineering blog and portfolio operated by Khang Nguyen at www.im-khang.com, including connected workspace features used to support editorial research, drafts, planning, and communications.
Khang Nguyen controls this application's Google Cloud configuration and data-handling decisions. This policy does not replace the privacy policies or terms of Google or another service he selects for a connected workflow. Use of Khang Publication is also governed by the Terms of Service.
2. Information handled
The public website does not require an account. It uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and site usage. Google Analytics may process browser and device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral information, page views, and interaction data under Google's controls.
The website stores a light or dark theme preference in browser local storage under khang-theme. This preference stays in the visitor's browser until cleared and is not used to identify the visitor.
If a site visitor contacts Khang Publication, the information in that communication is used to respond to the request.
3. Google user data
Connected workspace features access Khang Nguyen's Google user data only after he grants permission. Current access can include:

These permissions provide broad service access. Khang Publication limits use to the publication workflow or workspace action Khang Nguyen specifically directs.
4. How information is used
Google user data is used only to provide the publication workflow or workspace action Khang Nguyen directs. This can include retrieving relevant content, generating a requested response or draft, or carrying out an authorized action such as sending a message or updating a document.
Before sensitive changes, the workflow requires confirmation for sending email, creating or deleting calendar events, sharing or deleting Drive files, and modifying Google Docs or Sheets.
Khang Nguyen does not use Google user data for advertising, credit or lending decisions, sale to data brokers or information resellers, surveillance, or developing, improving, or training generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
Information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
6. Storage and security
Google credentials and connected-workspace session data are stored in the operator's local application profile. Google content returned during a requested task can be stored in local session history or temporary local tool-result files. Files explicitly downloaded from Google Drive remain at the selected local path until deleted.
Google API connections use HTTPS. Access to locally stored credentials and task data is controlled by the device account and local file permissions. No system is completely secure; connected access should not be granted on a shared or untrusted device.
7. Retention and deletion
Google access tokens remain in the local application profile until Khang Nguyen revokes access or removes the token. Local session history remains until he deletes or prunes it. Temporary oversized tool-result files are eligible for cleanup after 24 hours. Downloaded files remain until manually deleted. Information stored in Google Workspace remains subject to his Google account settings and Google's retention rules.
Khang Nguyen can revoke access from Google Account third-party access. Revocation stops future API access but does not automatically delete prior session history, downloaded files, sent messages, or content already created in Google Workspace.
To request help locating or deleting information controlled by Khang Publication, email khangdnguyen.work@gmail.com. Identity and account ownership may need to be verified before fulfilling a request.
8. Your choices and policy changes
Khang Nguyen can decline or revoke connected Google access. Site visitors can clear browser storage or use browser controls that limit analytics. These choices do not block access to the public blog and portfolio.
Khang Publication is not directed to children under 13. Material changes affecting Google user data will be published here before the changed practice is used, and additional consent will be requested when required.
